IBM, Cisco Share Security Secrets With Russia

Western technology companies, including Cisco, IBM and SAP, are acceding to demands by Moscow for access to closely guarded product security secrets, at a time when Russia has been accused of a growing number of cyber attacks on the West, a Reuters investigation has found. Russian authorities are asking Western tech companies to allow them to review source code for security products such as firewalls, anti-virus applications and software containing encryption before permitting the products to be imported and sold in the country. ‘Get this done’: Ryan Promises Permanent Tax Reform this Year

House Speaker Paul D. Ryan vowed Tuesday that Congress will approve a broad-based overhaul of the federal tax code this year, laying down a firm deadline for Republicans as he tries to smooth over intraparty differences that have plagued the effort thus far. The White House on Tuesday also endorsed an aggressive timetable. Vice President Mike Pence said Americans can expect the largest tax cut since the Reagan administration by the end of the year. The proposal — which he said he came up with on his own and was revealing for the first time — is the latest in a long line of suggestions for covering a price tag that could easily top $20 billion. “We’re talking about the southern border, lots of sun, lots of heat. We’re thinking about building the wall as a solar wall so it creates ... Read More

Four Republican senators who do not now support their party's version of a bill to replace and repeal Obamacare will "probably get there," President Donald Trump said in an interview airing Friday. "[They are] four good guys and friends of mine," Trump told Fox News' "Fox & Friends" co-anchor Ainsley Earhardt during an interview recorded at the White House on Thursday.
