MY GREATEST WORRY

Will Republicans Commit Romney-cide?

Since 1976, every time the GOP has run a RINO for president, the party has suffered an ignominious defeat – against a peanut farmer in ’76, a serial lecher in ’92 and a Marxist in 2008.

But Mitt Romney isn’t taking any chances. Should he secure the nomination, his primary campaign will ensure his defeat in November – 9% unemployment, a national debt hurtling toward the abyss, socialism and surrender notwithstanding.

Last week, Romney was beaming over what he called his “historic victory” in the Iowa caucuses. Out of 60,000 votes cast for Romney and former Senator Rick Santorum, Romney beat the Pennsylvanian (who didn’t even register on the Richter scale last year) by a whopping 8 votes, or .00001 percent. Mitt was actually down 6 votes from his 2008 total (30,021 to 30,015), despite a record turnout this year.

White House threw secret 'Alice in Wonderland' bash during recession
If this happened and the public didn't know, it was because the media prefers covering for Obama than doing it's job. ~Bob. Excerpt: It was the tea party the Obamas just couldn’t resist. A White House “Alice in Wonderland” costume ball — put on by Johnny Depp and Hollywood director Tim Burton — proved to be a Mad-as-a-Hatter idea that was never made public for fear of a political backlash during hard economic times, according to a new tell-all. “The Obamas,” by New York Times correspondent Jodi Kantor, tells of the first Halloween party the first couple feted at the White House in 2009. It was so over the top that “Star Wars” creator George Lucas sent the original Chewbacca to mingle with invited guests.

DEBATE DOUBLE-HEADER: GAME ONE
The real “epic fail” of this debate season is the GOP allowing liberal media figures to host and moderate REPUBLICAN debates in the first place.  That said, let’s start with Saturday night’s ABC debate.

First, George Stuffin’envelopes, a smug former Clinton water boy, is a major league liberal dick.  Sorry, but I couldn’t think of a more appropriate word.

Banning contraceptions?  Really?  That’s the issue you want to talk about?  Really, George?  Really?

And was Diane Sawyer moderating a debate last night or hosting a political episode of This is Your Life?  “What would you be doing tonight if you weren't debating?”  Really, Diane?  Really?

Seriously.  Why aren’t conservative, non-mainstream media figures asking the questions at these GOP debates?

Occupy Las Vegas protesters target foreclosed homes in valley

They are the faces of the foreclosure crisis, and Occupy Las Vegas wants to set up camp in their yards.
About 20 protesters spread out across the valley and spent Saturday knocking on the doors of homes facing foreclosure in hopes of contacting homeowners and their neighbors. The majority of the properties are single-family homes in Las Vegas, Henderson and North Las Vegas going to auction in the next week or so.
Some of the dozens of properties were caked in cobwebs and decorated with dirty lawn chairs, evidence the owners were long gone. An old welcome mat sat on the porch of one property, but a look through the blinds showed the home was empty.
Others were cleaner, a sign that real estate agents and banks were caring for them or, as some neighbors reported, the owners don't live there anymore but occasionally return to the property to keep it neat.

DO YOU TRUST OBAMA WITH YOUR PERSONAL FREEDOM? DO YOU?

Words Have Meaning: Love, and FreedomIt is interesting to note that “terrorism” has not by law been defined. NDAA, then, allows the President to define who a terrorist is and to have the military arrest him/her and “disappear” them to a foreign country. It wasn’t too long ago that law enforcement in more than one state defined a potential terrorist as someone who had bumper stickers that were pro-Constitution. That’s why it’s important to define our words more carefully and know what words like “freedom” mean........http://www.newswithviews.com/Barnewall/marilyn177.htm

COLORADO - GOVERNED BY A LIAR

Who is Telling the Truth? Here in the State of Colorado we elected a Democrat governor in 2006, Bill Ritter. He was a ‘good Catholic’. His campaign ads said he was pro-life, pro-family. His first four bills were anti-life and anti-family. One bill required all hospitals to do abortions even those run by religious institutions that held that life was viable from conception. How could a ‘pro-life’ politician sign such a law? Simple. He lied about being pro-life. He claimed in the campaign that he was.....http://www.newswithviews.com/Anghis/roger196.htm

An attempt at civility
Bob, I have been a follower of your site for several years and have recommended it to many of my friends. I would like to call your attention to a group called Civil Dialogue® that my brother has formed at Arizona State University. It is an attempt to bring back real discussion on political topics without the name calling and crassness that seems to permeate today's discussions. Although I have spent years trying to convince my brother that his political views are not "right" we have done so without losing respect for each other. I applaud his efforts and ASU for allowing and encouraging the forum. Keep up the great work and best of luck with your health. --Michael.
